LuxaRest Ultra 20 Year Limited Warranty

Full Replacement: Years1 through 10
Prorated Coverage: 11 through 20

Year 1 through 10 - Full Replacement Period – During year’s 1 through 10 of this warranty, Boyd LuxaRest Ultra, at its option, will repair or replace the defective product at no cost to the consumer. Any and all transportation costs associated with the repairs or replacements of the defective product are the responsibility of the consumer.

Year 11 through 20 – Prorated Coverage – During years 11 through 20 of this warranty, Boyd LuxaRest Ultra, at its option, will replace the mattress at a prorated charge plus all applicable shipping charges. The prorated replacement charge that the consumer pays is dependent upon when the mattress is replaced.

A) If the mattress is replace in year eleven of this warranty, the prorated charge will be fifty (50) percent of the original purchase price.
B) If the mattress is replaced in years 12 through 20 of this warranty, the prorated charge will increase by five (5) percent for each subsequent year of the prorate period. (For example, 55% of the original purchase price if replaced in year twelve of this warranty; 60% of the original purchase price if replaced during year thirteen of this warranty etc).

Sales and use taxes, plus shipping and handling charges are the responsibility of the consumer. Consumer is required to surrender damaged product to Boyd LuxaRest Ultra.

This warranty is between Boyd LuxaRest Ultra and the original purchaser and is valid only when accompanied by the original purchaser’s sales receipt showing original date of purchase. Replacements under this warranty revert back to the date of original purchase for future warranty.

Boyd LuxaRest Ultra can accept or reject warranty claims based on its findings. This warranty applies in normal residential use only Boyd LuxaRest Ultra can make substitutions as required of materials, components, and sub-components of comparable value and utility. This warranty is limited to product repair or replacement (to be determined by Boyd LuxaRest Ultra).

This warranty assures that: Cover will remain serviceable and free of runs and tears for the first two (2) years of this warranty. Edge tape stitching will not become defective. The mattress will not have a visible indentation greater than three-fourths (0.75) of an inch that is not associated with a sag in the foundation or adjustable bed base. The foam core will not crumble, bow out, or become deformed. The box foundation parts will stay intact and not break. It DOES NOT APPLY TO tears, punctures, or cuts caused by accidents, abuse, improper installation of components, or any negligence by the consumer or user. It is understood that this does not include a normal increase of softness of the foam material or a decrease in the slow recovery feature which does not affect pressure relieving qualities of the mattress.

Certain items are not covered by this warranty. These include, but are not limited to the following:

Components subjected to abuse including abuse intended to simulate failure.
Damages caused by shipper, dealer, or installation crew.
Any part which merely exhibits normal wear, yet functions essentially as new, including stretching of materials and stitching.
Boyd LuxaRest Ultra disclaims liability for any aspect of installation and any inconvenience caused by a defective part of a component.
Tears, punctures, or any damage caused by improper installation, moving of the bed or use.
Failures attributed to improper design or function of associated components not manufactured by Boyd LuxaRest Ultra.
Yellowing of the foam – this can occur naturally and does not effect the performance of the bed.
Items sold “as is” or clearance models.
Comfort Preference.
If the mattress is used with an inappropriate foundation or adjustable bed base.

LuxaRest mattresses are designed to work on a firm, solid-surface, non-spring foundation or adjustable bed base that is structurally capable of supporting the weight of LuxaRest mattress and user(s). This warranty and other performance warranties are based on tests conducted on "sets" that consist of a Boyd LuxaRest mattress and foundation/Adjustable Power Bed Bases/Platform Bed Frame. Boyd LuxaRest Ultra may require purchaser to provide proof of the quality of the foundation, adjustable bed base, or bed frame used in conjunction with the mattress if purchaser makes a claim under this warranty. Boyd LuxaRest Ultra reserves the right to invalidate this warranty if the mattress is found to be in an unsanitary condition.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has created the Standard for the Flammability (Open Flame) of Mattress Sets in Federal Register 16 CFR Part 1633. The foundation or adjustable bed base used with purchaser’s mattress, unless specified for use as the particular foundation or adjustable bed base for the mattress purchased, should not be construed as 16 CFR Part 1633 compliant.

If removable, the cover for the mattress is warranted for two (2) years from the date of purchase against faults in material or workmanship. If Boyd LuxaRest Ultra replaces the cover for the mattress, Boyd LuxaRest Ultra will replace it with the current style of cover available for the mattress, which may be a different color or material than the original cover.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser from the original purchase date of the original product purchased. An original purchaser is one who purchases the product directly from BoydMemoryFoamMattresses.com. If purchaser is not the original purchaser of this product, he/she takes it “as is“ and “with all faults.“

To make a claim, contact Boyd LuxaRest Ultra Customer Service Department by calling toll-free 1-877-269-3987. In the event a warranty claim is filed and a warranty replacement is deemed necessary, purchaser will be required to surrender the original product to Boyd LuxaRest Ultra at the time of replacement. Return the defective mattress along with your original sales receipt to Boyd LuxaRest Ultra. All items must be sent freight prepaid. Repairs or replacement will be made at the company’s option. This is the entire exclusive express limited warranty. The manufacturer neither makes nor is responsible for any other warranties, either expressed or implied, including those of retailing dealers. Any and all liability for breach of warranty, as well as damages for incidental or consequential losses including but not limited to water damages, are expressly denied.

This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights, and the purchaser may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.

Months 0 through 60 - Full Replacement Period – During months 0 through 60 of this warranty, Boyd LuxaRest, at its option, will repair or replace the defective product at no cost to the consumer. Any and all transportation costs associated with the repairs or replacements of the defective product are the responsibility of the consumer.

Months 61 through 120 – 50% Trade In Value – During months 61 through 120 of this warranty, Boyd LuxaRest, at its option, offer a credit of 50% of the current manufacturer’s suggested retail price for a defective component, this credit to be applied towards the purchase of a replacement component or complete bed from Boyd LuxaRest.

Months 121 through 240 – 20% Trade In Value – During months 61 through 120 of this warranty, Boyd LuxaRest, at its option, offer a credit of 20% of the current manufacturer’s suggested retail price for a defective component, this credit to be applied towards the purchase of a replacement component or complete bed from Boyd LuxaRest.
