Tempurpedic® charges you for delivery. These charges range from $150 (twin mattress delivery) to $395 (king mattress with adjustable base delivery).

When you purchase a Boyd LuxaRest memory foam mattress you will not be charged sales tax, unless you live in Missouri or California.

When you make a purchase from tempurpedic.com, sales tax is added to each order.

All Boyd LuxaRest foam is produced in a sealed vacuum chamber, allowing us to use pressure rather than chemicals to control the foam's properties. This certified eco-friendly sealed process also prevents harmful VOCs from being released into the atmosphere.

TEMPUR foam is not produced via a certified eco-friendly manufacturing process.

Boyd was the first US mattress manufacturer to adopt the new safety and environmental standards created by the Specialty Sleep Association. All Boyd LuxaRest Ultra memory foam mattresses meet Level I standards. A level I certification means the manufacturer has met all federal flammability safety requirements; provided a warranty; disclosed material construction; participates in annual survey identifying carbon footprint issues; meets standards for reduction or elimination of ozone depleting substances.

Tempur-pedic® mattresses do not have this certification.

Boyd memory foam has an "open cell" breathable structure that promotes airflow and the dissipation of heat. In addition to open cell memory foam, many of our memory foam mattresses feature our exclusive patent pending STAY COOL multi-channel air circulation system. Sculpted directly into the memory foam, the channel venting enables warm air caused by your body heat to escape through the multiple channels.

Tempur-pedic® has not addressed the potentially negative concerns of body heat build up. Its "Air Flow System" is comprised of one to two layers of convoluted foam. This system is not generally thought to effectively dissipate heat, since the layers are considerably far from the source of body heat build up. (The upper memory foam layers.)

Multiple channels in our exclusive tri-zone FoamSpring™ base provide additional refreshing air circulation as well as increased contouring and lumbar support.

The covers of the LuxaRest Ultra mattress are enhanced with COOLMAX to maximize comfort and breathability. This branded fabric is typically used in high end sportswear to pull moisture away from your skin and enhance evaporation to keep your body cool and dry.

Boyd has designed beds especially to meet the needs of our youngest shoppers. "Raspberry" and "Blueberry" plush top memory foam mattresses have soft velour covers in colors that kids will love.

Our 25 year limited warranty on selected memory foam beds reflects the ultra-premium quality and workmanship that goes into manufacturing our products. The remainder of our memory foam mattresses have a 20 year limited warranty.
